I thought there was no way on God's green earth that we would move by the end of July. I was STILL thinking that even as I was unpacking my 'accumulated wealth' into my new house. But the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, "Because you did not trust in me enough to honor me as holy in the sight of the Israelites, you will not bring this community into the land I give them." These were the waters of Meribah, where the Israelites quarreled with the LORD and where he showed himself holy among them. " Careful with that staff! My response: "It'll be a cold day in hell before I move within the next 45 days!" Within 45 days, I was signing the contract on the new house, gazing in a stupor, wondering what I had just done.
