It may have happened when I upgraded my WordPress install. There's a newer version that may or may not fix the problem, provided I actually get around to installing it.

The “Recent Comments” feature is very helpful, BTW. Even I know how to use it.

Yeah, I’ve been very pleased with it myself. From what I can tell, Recent Comments didn’t hose the RSS feeds. It may have happened when I upgraded my WordPress install. There’s a newer version that may or may not fix the problem, provided I actually get around to installing it.
