New Theme: Active
Yes, I’ve activated the 3-column theme I created last week. Expect the sidebar on the right to be populated with additional stuff in the coming days.
Feedback is appreciated.

Some films just don't stand the test of time, and Enter the Ninja is one of them. Fight sequences that once were top-notch now seem awkward and anti-climactic, and the plot is stolen from every Chuck Norris movie ever made.

Hidden beneath the titillation and gore is a subtle, complex and surprisingly rich cautionary tale about the dangers of...oh, who am I kidding? This movie is utter trash and proud of it.

Laura says that the big problem with Get Smart is that it gets too hung up on having a plot. As weird as it sounds, I tend to agree.

One of my favorite bad movies of all time. There's something incredibly appealing about a car that repairs itself, though the cost (human souls) does rival what a mechanic would charge.

How’s this for feedback, beyotch?
Firefox/Linux
SUH-Weeeeet!! It’s lookin’ (mostly) good. I’ve already told you how I feel about TNR font.
Red, or just about any shade thereof, works draw me in!

That’s some quality feedback, right there. Two things jump out at me: the Search textarea is too big (Duh) and the padding on the unordered lists in the sidebars is hella messed up. I’m pretty sure that neither of those showed up in Firefox under Windows.
KJToo wrote:
Hah. That’s not TNR, it’s Georgia!

Shit! I’m typing too fast and posting too quick! ‘works draw me in’ … What the hell does that mean? I need to be able to edit my own posts after I submit them!
KJwon wrote:
Georgia; son of TNR.

And twice the son of hell, at that.

I tweaked the stylesheet. Since I don’t have access to a Linux b0×0r at the moment (or Firefox, for that matter), I really don’t know whether the issues have been resolved.

Lay off the peaches, man. Lay off the peaches.
Feh,
Remember to keep it simple. I don’t need too much information on any one page, it takes too damn long to load on dial-up. Then again, I’m not known for running six apps and ten IE windows either.
Izzat some kinda pink highlights in the comments? I don’t need to remind you that my comments look terrible in pink, do I? Clashes with my prepositional phrases.
Keep tweaking. You’ve got enough creativity to make it aesthetically pleasing to most, yet wonderfully functional without pushing the weak into sensory overload.

I dunno, the Georgia peaches in his neighborhood have some of the silkiest southern drawls in the entire South. It must be something else. Maybe the figs.
KJToo wrote:
Pink? Where are you seeing pink? Every other comment has a light grey background, just like in the old theme.
Oooo. Behold the nifty. Very clean. Our Royal Person approves.

Hmm. Maybe my next theme will be called “Court Jester.”

The sidebars are indeed gray. The quicktag shading is the same gray. The highlights of the alternating comments are, on this machine, clearly not. As a male I describe it as a subtle, yet noticeable shade of light, or if you prefer, faded, pink.
A more feminine member of the human race may have a descriptive term, perhaps “Occluded Periwinkle”. I do not.
I may indeed have differing results on another machine. Your other readers/posters may also. On this machine, pink.

Very interesting. I have witnessed this phenenomenon first hand, as the background on the comments do, indeed, appear faintly pink on Gator’s laptop (as he sits behind me, it’s fairly easy to check). On my laptop, the color is definitely grey. Perhaps you both have somewhat effeminate computers?
The hex code in the stylesheet is “#f8f8f8″, which is equal parts red, green and blue (and thus, not pink or even occluded periwinkle). It is precisely the same color that was used in the previous theme. The sidebar background should be a very similar color, though I use the name “whitesmoke” as opposed to the hex code (#f5f5f5) in that case.

Considering the history of this machine, quite possible, yes, quite.
mine might not be effeminate, but it sure sucks…….old computer….need to upgrade….
On my machine I would say it is more of a salmon color….
Maybe all y’all are colorblind?

“all y’all”? Hmmm. Nah, it doesn’t work for you… Git back up to the sticks whence you came. G’won now!

Survey sez… anywhere from a faint reddish hue to lght pink.
On my other machine, two slightly different shades of gray.
