NaNoWriMo, Day 21: The Wall

·

I wrote a measley 500 words last night and failed to move the story forward at all. The problem is this: I started with a single character, built a situation and then starting filling in details. But I have no outline and no clear idea of how the story should conclude. My fear right now is writing 50,000 words and winding up with no climax.

Who says you have to have a climax? Climaxes are for sex. Say, theres a thought. Wind it up with a 50 page sex scene!

Maybe you should go for a nadir, an apex or an acme instead of a climax. Not that a climax would be bad, IMHO.

With no outline there are no restrictions on where to go next. The virtual opposite of work.

    Sweet.

    Think about it.

I would, but I have a strict “no Furries” rule with this novel.

    Time to change the rules.
