Found out from an associate yesterday I can invert Splinter Cell’s looking/camera movement. Just need to figure out how.

Oh, yeah. That'll make a huge difference in gameplay. As they say, inverted camera == teh good.

Gave Prince of Persia a whirl yesterday and today. I think The Broodlings are going to pass on it for now. Moving is definitely more intuitive for me, and some of the special moves are as fun to watch as do.

Still need to work on the run-along-the-wall-and-jump-horizontally-and-vertically (simultaneously) move. I've drowned several times attempting that one.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is one of the best Xbox games I’ve ever played. Dad should definitely give it a whirl before the Broodlings have at it.

I was thinking so myself. Hopefully, I have better luck moving the young prince than I do Sam(?) in Splinter Cell. For some reason, I have the dickens of a time coordinating moving and looking. I spend an inordinate amount of time looking at the ceiling. Because of that, I spend a lot of time dead.

I will definitely give the audiobooks a whirl.

One nicety of digital cameras is the ease of sharing photos. I bought a card-reader just after getting my camera, so I copied several photos Mom had taken of the kids and the Pinewood Derby before MFC brought her to you.

Splendid.

Finally, I'd be interested in your take on Mr and Mrs Smith. It has been on my list since coming out on DVD, just haven't rented it yet.

Yes, Mom was really excited that Kyle got out of the hospital while she was babysitting for Thagg, so that she could come and see him while she was in Ohio, and not have to have you worry about her being there while running back and forth from the hospital. Especially so since KJWon is going to be here in February so she moved her and dad's trip to see Kyle back to March. Funny how things (sometimes when every element in the universe aligns itself just right) can just fall into place isn't it?

And Thagg sayeth unto me:

The Broodlings are fired up about the Xbox games (MFC is pleased also) you loaned. The picture CD you burned was a nice touch. Thanks again.

The audiobooks on the CD are from LibriVox, which is a project to make public domain novels and poems available in audio form. I don't know if they're of any interest to you, but I thought I might as well fill up the disc as long as I was burning stuff.

In related news, my mother was babysitting my eldest brother’s (that’s you, Thagg) boys in Toledo over the weekend.

To quote Vibeguy: Thaaanks fer noticin'

She also made coffee and cinnamon rolls this morning, which made for a pleasant treat when I finally got out of bed at noon. Hurrah for mothers and grandmothers!

The Broodlings have been raving about Mom's/Grandma's cooking. Enjoy. No official charge for delivery, BTW.
