So much for amateur diagnosis. Kyle is definitely a gassy lad, which sometimes causes discomfort, but we’re pretty sure he’s not colicky. More than likely, he is a “lazy nurser.” Though he nurses for 30-40 minutes at a time, he’s simply not getting enough to satisfy him. This led to a lot of crying and a lack of pooping. We’ve taken steps to correct this, which has resulted in a reduction in crying and an increase in poop. Stinky, stinky poop.
Welcome to Parenthood: Colic? Maybe not so much.

Mostly bottle-feeding him breast milk so we can keep track of how much he’s getting. We’d like him to be eating between 4 and 5 ounces every 3 – 4 hours.

Lazy? Maybe he knows a good deal when he sees/tastes/feels it.
Hey, Kyle! Listen to Uncle Thagg: You ain’t never gonna get enough!!
I was going to tell him to stop milking it and get with the program, but apparantly he’s not milking it enough.
Ha, I kill me.
So, God put some smell in the poo-poo, did he? Just be glad you don’t have to rinse them in the toilet. Ewww.
We to your West are delighted to hear the little nerdling is going to be ok. Give him an extra hug for us.
Sometimes I am glad that I don’t have kids. This is one of those times. I don’t have to deal with anyone’s stinky poo but my own…Go me!

At one time young lady, KJWon and I had to deal with your stinky, stinky poo. We are both delighted that you are now dealing with it on your own.
I would have to agree with that one. I would hate to think of what the world would be like if you and KJWon still had to deal with my stinky stinky poo…… Ish!
