$2.50? Sounds a little pricey, but it does complete a set so it might be worth paying that much for the movie. Let's hope Wolverine is better.

@willywoollove — The Last Stand is one of those movies that I want to buy on DVD just so I can own the entire trilogy, but I just can't bring myself to spend money on it (ditto for Spider-Man 3; I hope this doesn't bode ill for future third installments of Marvel franchises). I'm sure I'll see it used for $2.50 one day and add it to my collection, if only because I'm a sucker for commentaries and documentaries/featurettes on DVD, even for movies I don't like.

I hated this movie. Sure I like Wolverine and many of the thing you pointed out as cool I also liked, but it wasn't enough to save this movie. The sad thing is I had to watch it twice in the theatre and pretend the second time that I hadn't seen it yet. It was very hard to control the eye rolling. That being said I hated it a little less the second time because my expectations were already crushed so i just made the most of it. I'll have a tough time forgiving Singer and I guess I should've expected crap like this from Ratner.

I agree with your review. I was quite disappointed as well. As Eric pointed out, the makers of the movie like to assume that we are stupid and won't notice things like the miraculous nightfall. I didn't think it had the same feel as the first two, but I couldn't really put my finger on it.

I agree that there were a lot of inconsistencies (particularly when compared with the comic book origins) and other annoyances, but overall I was entertained. I won’t be watching it over and again like I could the first two.
