I feel your pain. Our pollen count has been 5,000+ for the last week or so. I skipped a dose of my Allegra-D the other day; I was quickly and powerfully reminded that I have allergies. I'm not man enuff, or desperate enuff (yet) to try the nasal rinse. I gag just thinking about it.
I've been doing the rinse for three nights now and it's a piece of cake. I don't know if it can replace your Allegra, but I'm going to give it a week or so and see if there's any noticeable benefit. I will say that I haven't taken any DayQuil for a couple of days now and my schnozz is no longer drippy.
