The problem was action the <a href="http://www.blog.mediaprojekte.de/" rel="nofollow">King Framework</a> plugin that, due to a couple of typos in one of the PHP files, prevents you from dragging and dropping sidebar widgets in the admin screen after upgrading to WordPress 2.1. I was trying to track down the widget problem and installed <a href="http://www.silpstream.com/blog/" rel="nofollow">WP-Scriptaculous</a>, which fixed sidebar widgets but broke Slightbox. After uninstalling WP-Scriptaculous I was able to track down and fix the King Framework bug and everything now seems to be working! Taras Mankovski wrote:

I was trying to track down the widget problem and installed WP-Scriptaculous, which fixed sidebar widgets but broke Slightbox. After uninstalling WP-Scriptaculous I was able to track down and fix the King Framework bug and everything now seems to be working!
