[quote comment="41150"]With luck, Chris will have the appropriate mojo to get the goods off the device using his Apple-thang.

I own a Sony recorder that I'd like to get working under Linux as well. If I get it sorted out, there'll be a blog entry for it, rest assured...

Oh, Chris can certainly get the files off, but it would have been cool to be able to take an hour or so to edit and upload them last night instead of having to wait.

The recorder is indeed a Sony product, and it belongs to Mr. Miller. A quick peek at the Internets and the Googles yesterday yielded one or two other people attempting to get similar Sony IC recorders to work with Linux, but it seemed that no one had a solution.

If scuttlebutt heard on this very blog is to be believed, you might be running a Linux operating system nowadays... What compatibility problems are you having with your recorder? (Sony recorder? Proprietary formats of doom?)

I might be able to help - feel free to drop a line if you like. Happy to try and help free your digital message into the ether!

Congrats again on the "Con on the Cob" shenannigans - sounds like you had a pretty fun time at the festivities. Thanks to this very blog, I'm planning on re-reading the Solomon Kane collection I've got after my self/NaNoWriMo-imposed bout of fiction celibacy.

Thanks for the updates! I've enjoyed them quite a bit.

Keep the bail low --
