… Please don’t tell me how good it was. It was probably like a bacon-burger marinated in bacon and then served with a light bacon sauce with just a hint of bacon.

As with most fast food burgers, the actual product can’t possibly live up to the saliva-inducing images and words presented in the advertisements. On the other hand, it’s bacon, and there’s a baseline expectation with bacon that it’s damn near impossible not to meet.

Holy high school flashback! I haven’t even thought about built this city on rock and roll for years.

I think about that song on a shockingly regular basis. Weird.

Mrs. M. and I used to wonder who actually ordered the Baconator at Wendy’s. Now we know. We hope you live long enough to see your child grow up. I think I can hear your ateries clogging from here!

Well, now you know. And knowing, as they say, is half the battle.

Honestly, it’s not the most unhealthy burger I’ve eaten, but it’s certainly nowhere near being good for me. I could have ordered a salad, but no conversation ever comes from a salad. Ever.

I’m still a bit unskilled at listening to previews of tracks. Yeah, amazon and Magnatune are helping. I’m learning slowly. Nowadays, it’s just a matter of investing the time.

And I think it’s a real shame that this is the method forced on consumers - but I guess it could be worse.

Colorado actually has a couple decent 70s rock stations though. Better than the stations in Hartford were. Strange that I don’t listen to them - I listen to 90% podcasts, 10% NPR. I love my mp3 player.

No. Doubt. I haven’t listened to the radio in ages either.

I wouldn’t have listened last night, but I had no CDs in the MVoD with me. I finished listening to Stephen King’s The Dark Tower VII: The Dark Tower last week and those were the only discs still in the van.

This is why I listen to Sirius Satellite Radio.

I’ve toyed with the idea of getting XM for a while, but 99% of the time my iPod and the podcasts I subscribe to provide more than enough aural entertainment and information to keep me satisfied.
