I did absolutely no research in the area of decomposition (or anything else, for that matter); instead, I trusted that the arcane nature of the resurrection ritual would take care of all those sutures and the pesky embalming fluid and whatnot. Magick works in mysterious ways, no? As an aside, I did a little work in the funeral industry as a young man, specifically in the interment (and, on rare occasion) disinterment areas.
