I spent far too much time with Inkscape creating ((I’m using the term very loosely here. The dialog is mine; the art clearly is not.)) this comic based on an old forum discussion I stumbled across today. If you know the history of Bruce Wayne (Batman) and Dick Grayson (Nightwing, formerly Robin), you may find it amusing, but I make no guarantees.
Heh. I finally went to see Dark Knight tonight, actually. There was nary a thing in it froot loop colored. It was so grim it was almost monotone grime. But yeah, like everyone else said: Joker was really good!
@Nycteris — Ledger’s performance was outstanding. His voice, his mannerisms, everything just worked. By comparison, Jack Nicholson’s Joker seems kind of silly (please don’t hurt me, Jack).
Excellent. 🙂
I’ll also drag out the Dick-Grayson-based reading I did with Steve Eley a few years back: The Death Trap of Dr. Neferio

@Chris Miller — It is not a coincidence that I listened to “The Death Trap of Dr. Nefario” last night while I was putting this comic together. I wanted to be sure the words I was using were actually my own, and not something I had quoted from the story.
Oh, and I’m sure you meant to say that it was your “Hugo Award nominated performance”, didn’t you?
