@Greg — Both LEGO Star Wars games were really well done, with a few minor points of frustration. In fact, I found the prequel trilogy far more entertaining in the game than it was in the theater.

LEGO Batman is the next installment; maybe I'll have an Xbox 360 by the time it's released. Maybe not.

@minitotoro — The LEGO games are a fine example of how developers can feed into our obsessive-compulsive tendencies: if there's a secret goodie you haven't managed to uncover, that "% Complete" counter (whatever it may be labeled) is going to stick stubbornly at 99.9 and you won't be able to rest until you find the last shiny. I nearly went nuts looking for the final Alien Artifact in Destroy All Humans 2 (which, like the Grand Theft Auto games, has an incredibly in-depth statistics view) because of just such a counter. It's the Pokémon "gotta catch 'em all" mindset without the...well, Pokémon.

Heh...good call on the "Next Generation" consoles. If these are in fact the next gen, then what are we looking at in the future? Next next generation? Second next generation? the generation after the next generation...console? ;)

Thanks for the roundup. Played a few in the past, playing one that you mentioned now, and think I'm going to have to break down and revisit the 'lego' series, as I too spent a considerable amount of time with lego star wars.

Great, now I'm craving some Oblivion. I know there's a cave or two I haven't explored yet. Or... maybe I'll go get me some Morrowind.
BTW, if you ever make it through all the levels for LEGO Indiana Jones, make sure you go back and find all the chests. Extra level goodness is to be had.

@Nycteris — Re: Adam Sessler. I should probably have given Destroy All Humans 2 a five...out of five.

Y'know, that doesn't work well in print. If you've ever heard Sessler do a game review, though, you probably know what I was going for there.

I've finished FF VS 3rd Reich, but there was one mission in the first one that utterly stumped me. I could not get El Diablo to defeat gun-toting gangsters while defending a small idiot child.
