@Alana — I don't know if Kevin will be at Con on the Cob this year, but my wife and I will be there on Saturday. Perhaps we'll get lucky and be able to participate in a game with him again.

I love gaming with Kevin so much. I met him at Arcon VII and we have been gaming together ever since. He's a good player on top of being a great GM. Now I drive an hour and a half to game with him on the weekends.

@Kim - That'd be awesome. I'll pester the great Overlord.

And there's nothing wrong with low-tech. There are days I wish I had never discovered my current vocation (web designer). But, alas, gotta pay the bills.

Jahnoth-
I'm one of the few remaining low-tech gamers--I don't have a blog, forum, or facebook site. I don't really know how to get podcasts, and I don't even do online gaming! I do, however, have an email address; you can get it from Kris if you'd like. I'd be happy to keep up with you all, and maybe even get a visit in since for now I don't live too far away(few hours).

@Kim - And I felt a smidge jealous. Everyone was having some really kick-ass powers, and I was Captain Shoplift. Though, I admit, I loved it. :) Boosting the Hummer was especially fun. Didn't get to revel in my power 'till the very end. Which was cool.

Anyway, Kim, where can we find you on the interwebs?

@Kim — Thanks for the comment!

You're absolutely right about Kevin's style; he had a way of really grabbing your attention and drawing you into that world. When he was describing all of the sensations your character felt in "the zone" (the heaviness of the gun, the smell of the oil, the feel of the ground under her feet) I was thinking, Yeah! I want to be in the zone, too!

I have to agree, that game was incredibly cool. I think the storyline was fantastic, and wow, was Kevin good at what he did. His voice and mannerisms were perfect for the part he played. And his descriptions....again, wow. I didn't want to leave "the zone."

Being one of the six at that gaming table, I have to whole-heartedly agree with this. Kevin was a Master. Yes, with the capital "M." He walked, ran and drove us easily through the game. There was quite a few times where I thought we had spent way too much time at that gaming table, given how easily and smoothly and great the story was. But when we wrapped up and we looked at the clock, we had gone maybe 10 minutes passed the 4 hour mark.

Very well done. Kevin, if you're reading this, you made this year's Con one to remember.
