I could not think of a more perfect example how parenting priorities can clash than to compare what Laura and I are teaching Kyle to repeat.

LAURA: "Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name..."

KRIS: "Knight Rider: A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man...who does not exist..."

I could tell you who's been more successful thus far, but that might come across as gloating.

If a video game and a music video mated and their offspring was delivered by a comic book, this is the movie that baby would grow up to become. I have not (yet) read a single volume of the comic book upon which this movie is based, but the end result of the adaptation was pretty damned awesome.

An outrageous, silly, hyperactive chain of explosions and aerobatics that hits all the right nostalgia buttons while managing to bring the classic eighties television series into the twenty-first century. Sure, the plot is silly and the action generally falls somewhere between ridiculous and preposterous (occasionally veering well beyond ludicrous), but it's fun and entertaining and doesn't ask (or want, for that matter) you to think too much. In other words, it's THE A-TEAM.

A thoughtful, intelligent piece of sci-fi (as opposed to SyFy) with a stunning performance from Sam Rockwell and a beautiful score by Clint Mansell.
