		<description>My husband and I have discovered an alternative use for &quot;the pail&quot; (or as we call it, &quot;the bucket&quot;).  If there is one area in the room that you really don&#039;t want puke(the antique chair for instance), put the bucket there.  Not that the child will actually use the bucket, mind you.  No--the child will avoid the bucket entirely, and instead will proceed to puke anywhere else in the room.  

During a two-week bout of stomach flu last summer, we tested our idea by putting the bucket in bed with one of our children; it worked brilliantly.  He puked over the edge of the bed, between the headboard and the mattress, into the LEGO container, and finally onto the carpet--just barely missing the towel that was carefully positioned to catch such a thing.  The blanket around the bucket was spared.  Worked like a charm!</description>
